Funding Needs
$4.4 Million Goal
Nursing Education
Our goal is to offer a comprehensive nursing education program which will increase the number of well educated and qualified nurses at VHH, resulting in increased quality care and patient safety, and better retention and recruitment of nurses and physicians.
Goal: $3 million in Current Funds over 3 years; $5 million in Endowment Funds
Telemetry
Our goal is to replace older telemetry (heart monitoring) equipment in our ER, ICU, CCU and Telemetry units and to add telemetry capacity throughout the hospital so all patients can be monitored as needed.
Goal: $1.8 million
Medical Staff Endowment Fund
The interest from this Endowment Fund will be used to purchase capital equipment and support education programs in the future. The Medical Staff has challenged the Foundation to raise $150,000 to earn a $100,000 match.
Goal: Raise $79,435 to complete the match
Unrestricted Support
Unrestricted funds that are raised will be designated by the Foundation Board of Directors for the area of greatest need as identified by the hospital. Funds raised by the Foundation allow the hospital to purchase needed capital equipment and underwrite programs that are vital to our patients.
Goal: Raise $600,000 in 2008
