Who We Are

Founded in 1974, the Verdugo Hills Hospital Foundation’s mission is to raise and manage funds for the benefit of Verdugo Hills Hospital in order to meet the health care needs of the Foothill communities we serve. The funds raised support:

• Major capital expenditures and equipment
• Major renovation of hospital buildings
• Medical and general health care education
• General medical and health programs and services

Projects supported by the Foundation include the expansion and renovation of the Emergency Department, the renovation and update of the Gastroenterology Department, nursing education programs, the installation of a digital imaging system, and Computer on Wheels (COWs).
